Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) declined to rule out a 2024 presidential run Monday night after he was once requested about it all the way through his debate with Democratic former Rep. Charlie Crist.

The two clashed in Tampa all over their first and best debate before the Nov. eight election.

Crist accused DeSantis of being extra excited about President Joe Biden than doing his current job.

“Ron, you speak about Joe Biden lots. I have in mind, you assume you’re gonna be running against him, I will see how you may get puzzled,” Crist mentioned. “However you’re working for governor. You’re working for governor.”

Crist then requested, “Why don’t you seem to be within the eyes of the folks of the state of Florida and say to them when you’re reelected, you’re going to serve a full, 4-year term as governor, sure or no?”

After some applause, Crist stated, “Yes or no, Ron. Will you serve a full, 4-12 months term in case you’re re-elected governor of Florida?”

Following a second of awkward silence, DeSantis replied, “Is it my time?”

Crist said, “It’s an even query, he received’t tell you.”

The debate’s moderator reminded Crist that each candidates agreed not to ask one every other questions right through the debate.

DeSantis responded, “Well, listen, I do know Charlie is enthusiastic about speaking about Joe Biden and 2024, however I just need to make things very, very clear. The one worn-out old donkey I’m looking to place out to pasture is Charlie Crist.”
