Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky delivered a passionate speech to the European Parliament in defiance of Russia’s ongoing invasion of his usa. His words have been so shifting that the English translator could be heard chocking up.

Zelensky remotely gave his speech to Parliament on Tuesday as an extension of his call for Ukraine to be granted instant membership with the European Union. In his deal with, Zelensky condemned Vladimir Putin as he invoked the Russian military convoy drawing near Kyiv, plus the information that Russia has launched rocket attacks in opposition to civilian areas within the Ukrainian city of Kharkiv.

“That is the associated fee of freedom,” Zelensky stated. “We’re preventing just for our land and for our freedom.”

The translator for the European Parliament became audibly emotional as he took Zelensky’s promise that “Each square today, it doesn’t matter what it’s known as, is going to be called Freedom Sq., in every metropolis of our u . s . a ..”

“Nobody is gonna wreck us,” said Zelensky. “We’re sturdy. We’re Ukrainians.”

Zelensky continued to claim Ukraine fights to be recognized as an “equal member of Europe,” while he stressed that the country is now “combating for survival” in the war with Russia.

“The European Union goes to be a lot superior with us,” he said. “We now have proven our energy…Do show that you are with us. Do prove that you’re going to not allow us to go. Do prove that you are indeed Europeans, and then existence will win over dying, and light-weight will win over darkness. Glory be to Ukraine!”

Zelensky’s remarks have been met with applause from the assembly.
