GOP Presidential hopeful Vivek Ramaswamy stated Ukraine’s Jewish president, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, as a “comedian in cargo pants” and a “Nazi.”

Russian President Vladimir Putin and his government have claimed Ukraine’s government is stuffed with “Nazis” in order justify the invasion as well as weaponize the united states of america’s lingering patriotism concerning World Struggle Two, as The New York Times and other shops have explained.

Throughout the NBC News Republican debate, Ramaswamy was once asked whether or not he supported persisted aide and funding in opposition to Ukraine. The GOP outsider used his time on the stage to launch personal attacks at Zelenskyy and declare Ukraine shouldn’t be a legitimate democracy.

“Ukraine is not a paragon of democracy. This can be a us of a that has banned 11 opposition parties. It has consolidated all media into one state TV media arm. That’s not Democratic. It is threatening to not dangle elections this year except the U.S. forks over more cash. That’s not democratic,” Ramaswamy informed the target audience.

“It has celebrated a Nazi in its ranks. The comic in cargo pants, a person referred to as Zelenskyy, doing it in their very own ranks. That’s not democratic,” he delivered. “These are the exhausting data and sort of framed this as some more or less fight between excellent versus evil. Don’t purchase it.”

Senior creator at National Assessment Noah Rothman called Ramaswamy’s rhetoric a “reprehensible smear of Ukraine’s Jewish president merely for the sin of defending his u . s . a . towards an unprovoked conflict of territorial conquest and subjugation. Morally depraved.”

That’s what I thought I heard. What a reprehensible smear of Ukraine’s Jewish president only for the sin of defending his country against an unprovoked warfare of territorial conquest and subjugation. Morally wicked. https://t.co/FdzAe6SOPD
