Twitter deleted a Thursday tweet from a school professor wishing Queen Elizabeth II, in her closing moments on the throne, “excruciating” pain – a tweet that used to be condemned through Amazon founder and Washington Publish owner Jeff Bezos.
“I heard the manager monarch of a thieving raping genocidal empire is at last dying. Could her pain be excruciating,” tweeted Carnegie Mellon University professor Uju Anya.
Anya specializes in “critical utilized linguistics, crucial sociolinguistics, and vital discourse studies examining race, gender, sexual, and social type identities in new language studying in the course of the multilingual journeys of African American students,” in keeping with her bio on CMU’s website.

Anya, meanwhile, doubled down.

The queen died on Thursday at Balmoral Castle in Scotland on the age of ninety six. Her oldest son, Charles, 73, is now King Charles III.
