Donald Trump advised Sean Hannity that he knew nothing about Kanye West’s anti-Semitic rants prior to the two had dinner at Mar-a-Lago in November. They were joined at Trump’s Florida residence by means of White nationalist Nick Fuentes.

Hannity requested for Trump’s impressions of Kanye, who legally changed his identify to Ye in 2018, “now that you realize what he thinks and says.”

After I was once with him, he didn’t say that. And when he requested me to have dinner as a result of he needed some help, I didn’t say, “Well, what the problem?” So, I didn’t recognize the rest about his angle towards—I’m now not reading about Kanye, I’m studying about President Xi and I’m studying about Putin and Kim Jong-un. I’m no longer studying exactly about Kanye West. But when he got here right here, I feel he—and I’ll say this, he didn’t say the rest about anti-Semitism or anything else. And if he would’ve accomplished that, I might have not been a contented camper.

After the dinner, the rapper and entrepreneur tweeted that Trump “is truly impressed with Fuentes.”

Ye, who also visited Trump within the White Home, had his Twitter account suspended final fall after posting that he used to be going to “Go def con three on JEWISH PEOPLE.”After being reinstated, he had his account suspended once more for posting an image of a swastika. Ye has also appeared on Alex Jones’ InfoWars the place he expressed admiration for Adolf Hitler. His antics cost him design deals with Adidas and Balenciaga. He recently finalized his divorce from Kim Kardashian after eight years of marriage.

Trump has been accused of anti-Semitism himself, even supposing his daughter Ivanka transformed to Judaism earlier than marrying Jared Kushner. The former president has also been criticized for no longer disavowing Kanye and Fuentes’ anti-Semitism following the dinner. Hannity did not ask Trump about Fuentes.
