Ousted former Nationwide Security Adviser Mike Waltz was once given a list of jobs to select from after his sudden dismissal, CBS Information reported Friday.

President Donald Trump’s chief of team of workers, Susie Wiles, offered Waltz with a list of diplomatic positions on Thursday, according to CBS Information’ senior White House reporter Jennifer Jacobs. Among them were ambassadorships to Saudi Arabia and the U.N.

In some way, Waltz chose the U.N., an appointment Trump announced via Reality Social hours after information of his departure broke.

Waltz’s deputy, Alex Wong, was also let go.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio is now serving as period in-between Nationwide Safety Adviser in a dual role not considered when you consider that Henry Kissinger did so underneath President Richard Nixon.
