Former President Donald Trump instructed newshounds he could already be off the hook on the Big apple DA’s probe into the Stormy Daniels hush money payouts.

Chatting with journalists on board his aircraft following a rally in Waco, TX Saturday (in comments said by means of Axios), the previous president claimed the investigation was already over.

“I feel they’ve already dropped the case,” Trump told newshounds aboard his aircraft after showing at a marketing campaign rally in Waco, Texas. “It’s a pretend case. Some faux cases, they’ve absolutely nothing.”

That remark may be very much at odds with Trump’s continued rantings on Reality Social Sunday.

“They have got absolutely no case. The only witnesses are towards their so-referred to as ‘star’ witness, a serial liar, convicted felon, and disbarred lawyer,” Trump wrote — referring to his former attorney Michael Cohen. “I did nothing improper, and so they know it. This, and the whole thing else that they are doing with the DOJ-led Witch Hunt, is all about ELECTION INTERFERENCE, their new and ‘extremely sophisticated’ means of cheating on Elections!”

The New York Publish reports:

“A spokesperson for Bragg, a Democrat, declined to remark Sunday on Trump’s remarks but pointed to an unrelated Saturday commentary that observed the Daniels hush money probe as ‘an ongoing subject.’”

Trump has already blown one prediction — as it pertains to the Long island DA’s probe. Remaining Saturday, the former president stated he’d “BE ARRESTED ON TUESDAY.” Tuesday, of course, got here and went with out an indictment. The Grand Jury is reportedly expected to reconvene on Monday.
