Former President Donald Trump claimed he saved Obamacare after calling the Affordable Care act a “disaster” and bragging about his efforts to do away with it.

All the way through a rally a campaign rally in Iowa on Saturday, the Republican frontrunner began bragging to his supporters about how he virtually took down Obamacare while also invoking the identify of deceased Sen. John McCain (R-Arizona).

Trump tried to power Congressional Republicans to repeal Obamacare all over his first 12 months in office when the GOP maintained a majority within the Home and Senate. Alternatively, on July 27, 2017, McCain, the determining vote in the topic, famously gave a thumbs down all over the floor vote on its repeal.

“Obamacare is a disaster. And I said we’re going to we’re going to do one thing about it. I saved Obamacare when we obtained John McCain’s bad vote,” Trump informed the gang. “You recognize, he voted in opposition to it after campaigning for many, a few years. He said, ‘Uh thumbs down.’”

Trump then insulted Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) by regarding her as “Pocahontas” and claiming she has the same opinion the Reasonably priced Care act needs to be reformed.

He brought, “That was an excellent evening. However we’re going to fix it as a result of it’s a disaster for household budgets even. Elizabeth Pocahontas. Warren, have you ever ever heard of him? Now she’s Pocahontas on account of her great Indian heritage. She even mentioned that it must be fixed. Pocahontas stated it has to be mounted. So we’re going to repair it.”
