Former President Donald Trump phoned Fox News on Tuesday evening as police cleared Columbia University of anti-struggle protestors, some of whom were occupying Hamilton Hall.

Trump, who’s in New York for his legal trial, slammed the demonstrations in opposition to Israel’s war in Gaza, which has entered its seventh month. The previous president spoke with Sean Hannity, who recalled the Oct. 7 terrorist attacks launched in opposition to Israel from Gaza. Hamas militants killed 1,200 Israelis and kidnapped more than 200 others.

“I witnessed a 48-minute tape that I wish the entire country might see,” Hannity said, referring to photos of the attacks. “And what I’m seeking to be aware right here is The usa right now doesn’t appear to have moral clarity. And that’s, this should be and 99 to 1% problem the place folks keep in mind that the state of Israel had the worst terror attack of their history.”

Hannity bemoaned the fact that Israel, which has killed greater than 30,000 Gazans because Oct. 7, is being referred to as on to finish the struggle.

“I’m having a troublesome time working out why don’t members of Congress, why aren’t these college students, why aren’t political figures not figuring out that there is good and evil right here and radical Islamic terrorism is the evil a part of this,” Hannity advised Trump.

The former president answered by means of reiterating his criticism of Jewish politicians who, he says, usually are not supportive of Israel. Whereas doing so, he named Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY):

Neatly, I’m looking at Jewish politicians abandon Israel, and I’ve considered it and you have viewed it. The place is Schumer? Why isn’t Schumer talking up? He used to be always available in the market in front. Because he’s having a look at votes, I assume. And I assume he’s maybe taking a look at more votes than characterize Israel [sic].

Trump went on to call the protestors, “brainwashed.”

Final month, the former president stated Jews who vote for Democrats “will have to be ashamed of themselves.”

“Any Jewish individual that votes for Democrats hates their faith,” he mentioned. “They hate the whole thing about Israel and they should be ashamed of themselves as a result of Israel would be destroyed.”

Schumer, who had called for Israel to hold new elections amid Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s prosecution of the warfare, blasted Trump in response, calling his remarks “totally disgusting.”
