Arizona Senate candidate, Blake Masters, is underneath increased scrutiny on the grounds that former President Donald Trump endorsed him final week within the GOP primary.

“We do have a gun violence drawback on this usa, and it’s gang violence,” Masters tells a local Arizona radio application in the clip.

“It’s gangs, it’s folks in Chicago, in St. Louis, shooting each other. Very regularly, you understand, Black individuals, frankly. And the Democrats don’t need to do anything about that,” he adds.

Masters’s Republican opponent, Jim Lamon, released an attack advert over the weekend suggesting Masters is anti-semitic.

According to The Washington Examiner, the advert “generally draws upon an anti-struggle article Masters wrote as an undergraduate at Stanford College.”

“You think you recognize Blake Masters?” the advert begins.

“Were you aware Blake Masters called World War II unjust and broadly quoted an antisemite who believes Jews and Zionists are bent on world domination? Do you know Blake Masters shared a piece of writing calling Israel ‘the North Korea of the Middle East’? Blake Masters even praised the Unabomber and unironically quoted a Nazi struggle felony,” the commercials narrator ads.

The Examiner notes that the ad is according to “ investigative piece written through Jewish Insider in April that details a piece of writing Masters wrote for a libertarian website online back in 2006.”

Masters slammed the ad over the weekend, announcing, “We knew they had been going to try to call me a racist and a sexist and a terrorist. Well, it seems, loser Republicans will try this too.”

Masters, like Ohio’s GOP Senate nominee J.D. Vance, has been backed through one-time Silicon Valley insider, Peter Thiel, who has contributed some $thirteen million to the race.
