Lower than 24 hours after former President Donald Trump printed Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) is on his VP shortlist, a prime guide to the Trump marketing campaign trashed the Florida governor as a “sad little man.”

LaCivita was responding to a New York Post document which revealed DeSantis told his would-be RNC delegates that he would now not take the no. 2 spot on the ticket.

“I’m not doing that,” DeSantis reportedly mentioned.

On Tuesday night time at a city hall in South Carolina, Fox News host Laura Ingraham bought Trump to say that DeSantis is into account for VP.

“The audience has been asked who they believe can be a good choice, and various names got here up,” Ingraham said. “certainly One of them was once, after all, Vivek Ramaswamy; he’s made a gigantic splash. Ron DeSantis, who’s making an appearance nowadays in South Carolina, we simply discovered. Clearly, Tim Scott, Byron Donalds, and an immense presence here for Tulsi Gabbard. Are they all to your shortlist?”

“They are,” Trump said.

During the GOP major marketing campaign, Trump — who dismissively dubbed his rival “DeSanctimonious” — went after the Florida governor relentlessly. However in the remaining days before DeSantis pulled out of the race, Trump started out to soften his criticism prior to ultimately saluting him after he bowed out.

DeSantis gave a lukewarm endorsement of Trump on the day he quit the race however has taken a number of photographs at him considering that.
