Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt (R) accused pro-Palestine protesters of attractive in “hate speech” on Monday and warned they would now not be “tolerated” in his state.

Reacting on Fox Information’ Fox & Friends to the continuing student protests across the United States, Stitt advised co-host Brian Kilmeade, “We stand with Israel. They’re our finest ally within the Center East.”

“But you and I get that. It was fashionable data,” spoke back Kilmeade. “Does it bother you that 900 arrested, dozens of schools across the usa feel in a different way? They feel as though Israel is the dangerous actor they usually wish to divest and they refuse to go away. The numbers of people that disagree with me and you is outstanding. Does it make you down on the longer term technology of leaders in our united states of america?”

Stitt argued:

I believe it’s a very small minority which can be super vocal. They want to be held accountable. I wish each younger particular person could watch the video of the GoPro cameras on October 7. These people with computing device guns that actually there used to be a concert occurring for younger folks they usually came in and simply began mowing them down. That’s no longer right, and I mean who’re these folks which can be pronouncing that they inspire that or they stand with Hamas? Man, I might kick ’em out of universities. It truly is fantastic. He concluded, “The Jewish group, just each person that’s for right and mistaken will have to be completely antagonistic to this.”

Stitt doubled down on his remarks in a social media publish on Monday evening.

“In case you’re standing with these terrorist teams— it’s time to get your head examined,” the governor wrote. “We’re all about free speech in Oklahoma. But hate speech isn’t going to be tolerated.”

In the past, Stitt has accused universities of violating the First Modification and no longer doing enough to ensure free speech for students on campus.

In 2022, the governor signed a bill organising the Oklahoma Free Speech Committee.
