Russian state TV presenter Dmitry Kiselyov appeared to threaten nuclear warfare all the way through a broadcast, and according to translation, pondered why “we want the realm if Russia won’t be in it?”

In keeping with a translation from Monetary Times‘ Moscow bureau chief Max Seddon, the host advised viewers that “submarines alone can launch greater than 500 nuclear warheads, which ensures the destruction of the United States and NATO for just right measure.”

“The theory is: why do we’d like the area if Russia won’t be in it?” Kiselyov delivered.

Kiselyov, who has been described as a “propagandist,” added in the broadcast that “Russia’s nuclear functionality is the most powerful on the planet” (per a BBC translation).

“Now, Russia’s complete nuclear triad has been positioned on unique alert,” he mentioned. “Putin warned them. Don’t attempt to frighten Russia.”
