NBC News national political reporter Marc Caputo raised some eyebrows on Tuesday with a report that quoted some distance-right troll Milo Yiannopoulos announcing former President Donald Trump fell prey to a trap designed to “make Trump’s existence miserable” by way of having him share a meal with neo-Nazi Nick Fuentes at Mar-a-Lago.

Fuentes took to Telegram later within the day to name the file, which each he and Yiannopoulos had been referred to in as sources, “fake information.”

Fuentes shot down the theory he was once a part of a plot to intentionally try to harm Trump in a put up on Tuesday, writing, “My intention was once not to harm Trump by way of attending the dinner, that’s faux information. I like Donald Trump.”
