A New Hampshire man who voted for Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley in the Republican main on Tuesday instructed MSNBC he “wouldn’t vote for her in a common election” against President Joe Biden.

Live from Hanover, New Hampshire on Tuesday, NBC News’ Alex Tabet pronounced:

I’ve been chatting with voters all day and there’s in point of fact been two forms of voters usually who I’ve been speaking to. One, registered Democrats who’re writing in Joe Biden as a express of harmony, a symbolic convey of harmony with the president, and the other, which is an undeclared voter who has a extra liberal leaning ideology and who seems to be vote casting for Nikki Haley almost strategically.

Christian Smith, a freshman at Hanover’s Dartmouth Faculty, proceeded to inform Tabet:

I voted for Nikki Haley and it was once undoubtedly a strategic vote. I believe that the DNC is reasonably resolute of their nomination for Joe Biden, and whereas I wouldn’t vote for her in a general election, particularly on our variations with local weather change resolution, a girl’s right to bodily autonomy, or incarceration charges, I think a vote for Nikki Haley is– helps cut back Trump’s influence in the RNC and their nomination, and was also a vote in opposition to democracy.

Tabet concluded, “And Christian is emblematic of so many conversations that I’ve had throughout the day.”

While Trump defeated Haley in the New Hampshire major, the results were so much closer than the Iowa caucus prior this month.

As of reporting, with 60% of the votes counted, Trump bought 54.four% of the vote, whereas Haley obtained 43.5%.
