Newsmax host Eric Bolling requested South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem whether or not her guide editor could have been “a liberal plant” intent on making her seem unhealthy after Noem acquired backlash over a number of passages from her new memoir.

Reacting to the controversies surrounding Noem’s e-book – including an extract which designated the governor’s choice to kill her 14-month-old canine Cricket after it proved “not up to worthless” as a looking animal – Bolling mentioned:

I’ve also written a couple of books and I know how the method works. You write some chapters, you don’t write the entire e-book immediately. You write a chapter or two, you ship it to the editors, and they edit, they learn it, they add, they subtract, and here’s my question. The editor, the editor, used to be she presumably a plant? A liberal plant? Because I’m not positive either this kind of stories – the canine story, the North Korea story – looks like the Kristi Noem I do know.

“No, the buck at all times stops with me. I take my very own full duty,” answered Noem. “I wrote this e book and I take the accountability for what’s in it. It’s a great ebook, Eric. I am hoping all and sundry reads it and buys it. It’s available the next day to come.”

Noem sparked outrage among Republicans and Democrats alike closing month after she boasted in her e book No Going Back about killing her canine Cricket after it proved “less than worthless” for pheasant hunting and killed several chickens.

“I hated that dog,” wrote Noem, earning her condemnations from a number of Fox Information analysts, Sen. Mitt Romney (R-UT), and reportedly even former President Donald Trump.

Noem’s guide generated even more controversy this week after she was accused of lying a few supposed meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un in another element of the memoir, which has since been removed.

During an interview with Fox Information host Jesse Watters on Monday, Noem refused to assert whether she had ever met with the North Korean leader.

“I don’t have conversations about my conversations with world leaders,” she informed Watters.
