MSNBC president Phil Griffin spoke at a conference today help through the National Affiliation of Hispanic Journalists, for a discussion largely centered round range within the newsroom. Griffin confronted questions on a lack of range on MSNBC.

Actually, one of the questions Griffin obtained was about that awkward, borderline insensitive Cinco de Mayo second on MSNBC a couple of months in the past.

Griffin confronted a few more tough questions about MSNBC’s diversity and common news community policy concerning Hispanic anchors.

But one quote he mentioned that truly stood out is when he stated the overall problem of diversity may also be chalked up to what he referred to as the “Foxification of The united states: if the liberals adore it, the others won’t do it.”
