Matt Gaetz calls abortion protestors "ugly"

Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) doubled down on feedback he made closing week where he stated, “Why is it that the ladies with the least likelihood of getting pregnant are the ones most worried about having abortions? No person wants to impregnate you if you seem like a thumb.”

His comments had been a kind of inverse and less vulgar model of a little bit via the late George Carlin by which he requested, “Why is it that most of the people who’re in opposition to abortion are people you wouldn’t wish to fuck in the first location?”

When pressed about his feedback on Monday through journalist Olivia Iverson, Gaetz refused to backtrack and mentioned he’s happy the constitutional right to abortion was once struck down.

“I’m very pro-existence,” he stated. “I make no apology for it, and I’m grateful that Roe over been overturned and that Dobbs is now the jurisprudence on abortion. And I in finding these people who bought in and out these pro-abortion pro-homicide rallies odious, and just like, unsightly on the inside and outside. And I make no apology for it.”

Gaetz further slammed protestors who display at the houses of Supreme Courtroom justices.

“Those which might be out there protesting, marching outdoor Justice Kavanaugh’s house, seeking to threaten the court docket, seeking to impose ‘an evening of rage’ on our nation’s capital, which is what they marketed, it’s simply pure ugliness,” he continued. “And I see that ugliness on the inside, I see it on the outside.”

Iverson then asked, “Is it protected to say that primarily based off of your comments, you’re suggesting that these ladies at these abortion rallies are ugly and chubby?”

“Yes,” Gaetz answered.

“What do you say to individuals who think those feedback are offensive?” she asked.

“Be offended,” he responded.
