Rep. Lauren Boebert tweeted an apology on Friday for feedback made in a viral clip where she mocked Rep. Ilhan Omar as a potential terror risk. Omar is asking Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Minority Chief Kevin McCarthy to take motion towards Boebert immediately.

The video of Boebert’s remark, which she delivered like she was doing a horrific stand-up routine, went viral on Thanksgiving weekend. In response, Rep. Omar spoke back through calling Boebert a “buffoon’ and a bigot, and demanded that Home management take movements towards her.

After the overnight blow-up, Boebert on Friday issued an apology in a tweet.

“I make an apology to somebody in the Muslim neighborhood I offended with my comment about Rep. Omar,” stated Boebert within the tweet. She additionally mentioned she’s reached out to Rep. Omar’s office.

I express regret to any person within the Muslim neighborhood I offended with my comment about Rep. Omar. I have reached out to her place of job to talk along with her immediately. There are many policy differences to focal point on without this needless distraction.
