Lamar JacksonBaltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson defended himself after ESPN reporter Jamison Hensley accused Jackson of using an anti-gay slur in a tweet.

Jackson went after a random Twitter consumer Sunday night after the Ravens misplaced Sunday afternoon to the Jacksonville Jaguars 28-27.

The quarterback is at present in the closing year of his contract with the Ravens and reportedly needed a fully guaranteed contract after the Cleveland Browns signed Deshaun Watson to a five-yr $230 million absolutely assured contract.

The disgruntled Ravens fan took to Twitter and did not believe Jackson deserved a $250 million absolutely guaranteed contract because of his poor play, and wrote, “when any person is inquiring for over 250 mil like @lj_era8… video games should now not come to @jtuck9. Let Lamar stroll and spend that cash on a neatly rounded crew.”

Jackson determined to respond to the Twitter consumer with a vulgar tweet.

“Boy STFU y’all be cappin an excessive amount of on this app mf never smelt a football box never did shit but eat dick,” Jackson wrote.

Hensley, a team of workers author for ESPN, wrote a column on Sunday evening titled, “Ravens QB Lamar Jackson deletes vulgar tweet blasting critic.” Hensley mentioned the tweet within the first line as “anti-homosexual.”

After Hensley tweeted out the story he wrote, Jackson speedy defended himself and didn’t relish that Hensley implied he was anti-gay.

“This is Defamation of my personality, as a result of no longer as soon as have I ever mentioned or disrespect somebody’s Sexuality, sexual orientation, gender, Religion, or Race. Your attaining,” Jackson wrote in response.

Ravens head coach John Harbaugh spoke to reporters Monday afternoon and he was asked about Jackson’s tweet.

“[We] beg guys to not get into the Twitter world proper after video games, particularly after a loss,” Harbaugh stated. “It’s never gonna be positive. It’s no longer gonna be a nice place, and I believe that’s mirrored in Lamar’s response as a result of what he mentioned is so out of personality.”

Harbaugh has been Jackson’s coach since the Ravens drafted Jackson in 2018 and spoke about Jackson’s character.

“That’s now not the best way he speaks, it’s no longer the way in which he talks, it’s now not the words he ever makes use of,” Harbaugh endured. “I’ve never heard him say things like that ahead of. He needs to win. I’m sure he’s frustrated, just like all of us are. That’s just a situation you don’t need to are living after a sport.”
