Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC) has joined the race for the 2024 Republican nomination, however Jesse Watters insisted on Monday the senator has no probability and even stated he’s no longer actually operating for president.

“With all due respect, I don’t take into account the Tim Scott factor,” Watters mentioned on Monday’s installment of The 5. “Good man. But nice guys finish final. To me, he’s simply your average Republican senator. He votes with Republicans and that’s a excellent thing. However, he’s got a excellent personal story, after which the non-public story roughly stops, and you don’t recognize anything about his non-public story.”

“You will have a horrific non-public story,” Gutfeld interjected.

“I’m simply getting started,” Watters shot back. “This man isn’t working for president. He’s working for cabinet, and folks try this. You run for a cabinet place otherwise you run for VP. I don’t be aware of, is Trump flirting with the guy? He was once pronouncing nice issues about Scott and Scott’s gonna say nice things about him. However Scott’s got no shot.”

As Watters spoke, a chyron teased Scott’s look on Fox Information Tonight later that evening.

Watters went on to claim that political consultants could have a box day advising Scott’s campaign.

“He’ll more than likely get fleeced through his consultants or different consultants will simply say Republicans aren’t racist as a result of Tim Scott’s working for president,” he continued. “I don’t in reality care about what color Tim Scott’s skin is, and I’m ailing of everyone talking about what shade his skin is. Each time you hear him coated on the mainstream media it’s about his skin. On conservative media, it’s about his skin. I don’t want to speak about his skin. I wanna discuss concerning the united states. Do we simply speak in regards to the united states?”

“Do you want to talk about his muscles?” Gutfeld joked. “He’s in great form.”

“I don’t even think he’s a long shot,” Watters said. “Let’s put it that manner.”
