CNN’s Jake Tapper, Jamie Gangel, and Chris Wallace had a ball delving into Rep. Liz Cheney’s (R-WY) new e-book that spills the tea on the GOP following Donald Trump’s 2020 election loss.

Tapper interested by an excerpt during which Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) instructed Cheney he visited Trump at Mar-a-Lago weeks after the Jan. 6 Capitol revolt as a result of Trump allegedly wasn’t eating:

CHENEY: Mar-a-Lago? What the hell, Kevin?

MCCARTHY: They’re actually worried. Trump’s now not consuming, in order that they asked me to return see him.

CHENEY: What? You went to Mar-a-Lago because Trump’s no longer eating?

MCCARTHY: Yeah. He’s in point of fact depressed.

“I cherished the one about [Kevin] McCarthy announcing that he had to go all the way down to Mar-a-Lago as a result of The Donald was once depressed and he wasn’t consuming. First of all, I — that by myself I in finding shocking, however— just because he’s a person of healthy appetites. I don’t imply that disparagingly,” Tapper delivered.

“However the concept that he would even attempt to peddle that malarkey to Liz Cheney, I to find superb!”

Tapper then became again to Gangel.

“However what, of all of the stories in there, what’s the most surprising to you?” he requested.

“I feel in truth it’s the number of tales like that. It’s the hypocrisy. It’s the duplicity. It’s all of this stuff are being mentioned in private, and they’re mocking Trump, and so they’re announcing, “We simply need to do that one last item, or he’s not eating, or he is aware of he’s lost,” Gangel said.

“Or, what I do for the Orange Jesus,” Wallace delivered, regarding the moniker Rep. Mark Green (R-TN) known as Trump in non-public.

“Congressman Mark Inexperienced, I roughly simply thought he was a true believer, however he referred to as Trump the ‘Orange Jesus,’ in keeping with Liz Cheney? That’s shocking to me!” Tapper exclaimed.
