NewsNation anchor Chris Cuomo boasted on Monday that he would “actually twist” Tucker Carlson, despite conceding that Carlson is otherwise “tougher” than him.

Throughout an interview on the Tucker Carlson Community, Cuomo spread out about his experience getting “shitcanned” by way of CNN in 2021.

“You’re tougher than I am. Not bodily, I’d literally twist you like a band-help,” said Cuomo, as Carlson burst into laughter.

He persisted:

But you might have extra resilience about this than I did. I still feel like I’m on one knee and getting again up, and what encouraged me to come back again was two issues– three things. One, my wife instructed me I had to. Two, she was like, “You gotta get up and, you know, we’ve acquired kids, you’ve gotta rise up, you’ve received to do one thing along with your lifestyles that’s helping individuals and making something of this position. That’s what we’re purported to be about. You aren’t about that right now. You’re an area rug at the moment. That’s what you might be, you’re a 230-pound lump on the floor. Rise up, do one thing along with your lifestyles.”

Cuomo added, “My response used to be that I used to be embarrassed and I knew she was once proper, however infrequently you already know what’s right however you don’t have the energy, the need, or the self-confidence or belief to do it.”

Reacting to critics who steered he had “crossed a line” through appearing on Carlson’s show, Cuomo wondered, “Says who? Says you in the media who also solid me out?”

He concluded, “It doesn’t make any feel, except for those who’re just taking part in a stupid sport that has ideas about who you’re supposed to like and who you’re not supposed to like, and I’m not gonna be that for two causes. One, it’s a stupid game, and two, I misplaced that recreation.”

During the identical interview on Monday, Cuomo confronted Carlson about the mean feedback he had up to now made toward him, which ended in Carlson replying, “I’m a dick.”
