CNN anchor Chris Wallace gingerly requested Andy Garcia “does it trouble you” that his Godfather entry is considered as probably the most “flawed” of the movie trilogy.

This week’s episodes of Wallace’s Max/CNN series Who’s Speaking to Chris Wallace will feature interviews with Hollywood celebrity Andy Garcia and celebrity former Republican California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger.

In his interview with Garcia, Wallace prefaced his query about the superstar’s flip in The Godfather Section III through pronouncing “I hope you’re no longer going to get mad at me” for bringing up the standard criticism of that installment:

WALLACE: A number of years later, you play Vincent in “The Godfather III” during which you’re going to take over as the brand new head of the domestic and here’s a scene of you with the previous Don played by way of Al Pacino.

GARCIA, ACTOR, “THE GODFATHER III”: Provide me the order.

AL PACINO, ACTOR, “GODFATHER III”: You won’t be able to return. You’ll be like me.

GARCIA: Good.

PACINO: All my existence I wished help. I wished a domestic, you already know?

GARCIA: Neatly, I don’t want to. I want the power to protect the household.

WALLACE: Godfather III, I hope you’re now not going to get mad at me, is thought to be the improper one as compared to the 2 masterpieces. First of all, do you think that’s honest? And secondly, does it bother you?

GARCIA: Well, I don’t think it’s truthful. It’s important to decide the film on its own merits. You understand, I think it’s a lovely piece of labor. It’s hard — you know it’s arduous to observe two masterpieces, you realize, it’s like Da Vinci painted quite a lot of masterpieces. I’m sure there’s a number of issues which you could say, well, that statue will not be fairly the David, however you take a look at the statue and it’s nonetheless a Da Vinci.

And it’s a unprecedented movie, I believe, also, and of course a unprecedented privilege for me to be associated with that, you already know, that trilogy. And working with Francis and with Al who’s again every other an actor that impressed me incredibly or inspired an entire era of actors. So, I’ve nothing but beautiful recollections and exquisite issues to claim about that film.
