Republican South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem once more defended her controversial killing of her pet by claiming she “adopted the legislation” and acted as a accountable canine proprietor.

In her upcoming new e-book No Going Back, Noem explained how she shot a 14-month-old dog named Cricket, who she described as “less than worthless” because of aggressive conduct. Social media customers commenced criticizing Noem for animal cruelty.

She then brought that South Dakota legislation allows her to execute her dog if it turns into aggressive toward cattle.
