Travis Kelce finds his identify in headlines for many reasons: his impressive stats because the tight finish for the Super Bowl-certain Kansas Metropolis Chiefs, his well-known singer female friend, and, after an article that stirred up some controversy, for his haircut.

A latest New York Instances article headlined “They’ll Take the Travis Kelce — Hairdo, That Is” credited the football participant for inspiring guys across the us of a to ask their barbers for “the Travis Kelce,” which was once described as “a buzz lower fade” that was once “simple to duplicate.”

Individuals have been fast to show that the haircut used to be neither invented by means of Kelce nor new, being common within the militia, the Black neighborhood, and others for many years.

“This is ridiculous,” said Travis, prior to reacting in amused surprise when Jason read the headline. “Oh my God, what?! This is what it said?”

Travis then jokingly offered his due to whoever wrote the article, announcing, “I had more barbers assault me, for now not even having anything else to do with this.”

“You invented the fade,” Jason replied.

“No, I didn’t,” Travis shook his head.

“What better month to credit score a White man with inventing the fade than February?” Jason joked, regarding Black History Month.

Travis again insisted he had nothing to do with the story and did not invent the fade, “but I know where that you would be able to get a just right one,” and touted his barber of possibility.

The clip ends with the brothers discussing Travis’ playoff beard.
