Trump was once indicted on some 34 counts Thursday, reportedly stemming from the falsification of industry information. Trump’s lawyer is supposedly discussing how the previous president will surrender to the authorities.

The former president in the past suggested prices in opposition to him to suggested his supporters to lash out violently with “dying and destruction.”

BLITZER: Trump as you well know, he’s been warning what shall we see what he calls dying and destruction if he faces fees, as you neatly comprehend. Now that he has been indicted. How concerned are you about the potential of violence and you noticed the potential for violence, the true violence and you have been there on January sixth?

PENCE: Right, neatly, there’s no excuse for that more or less rhetoric on either aspect of this debate, and there’s truly no reason to be calling for folk to be protesting over it, as smartly. Appear, I know President Trump neatly and I know President Trump can take care of himself in the court docket, and he must focal point on that presently.

BLITZER: You settle, though, his language is outrageous?

PENCE: Seem, the tough language on both side of this is unacceptable, including that. However I need to say to you I truly do consider that this determination lately is a good disservice to the us of a and the idea that for the primary time in American history a former president would be indicted on a marketing campaign finance issue, to me, it just smacks of political prosecution, and I feel the overwhelming majority of the American folks will see it that method, Wolf.

BLITZER: Are there any cases in any respect, Mr. Vice President, in which you would suppose it would be applicable to criminally prosecute a former U.S. president, or will have to former presidents be categorically immune from any and all criminal prices?

PENCE: No person is above the law, including former presidents, let me be clear on this.
