Hewlett-Packard to cut 5,000 more jobs

(Reuters) – Hewlett-Packard Co stated it will minimize 5,000 extra jobs, bringing the overall choice of layoffs to 34,000, or 11 % of its workforce. The company stated in a regulatory filing on Monday that it might record a cost of $4.1 billion in 2014, up from its prior estimate of $three.6 billion.
