Mike Rounds on ABC's This Week

Sen. Mike Rounds (R-SD) fired again at Donald Trump after the previous president rebuked him for correctly stating that 2020 presidential election used to be honest.

Rounds appeared on Sunday’s This Week on ABC where he dedicated the cardinal sin against Trump: declaring the previous president misplaced the election.

“Whereas there have been some irregularities, there were none of the irregularities which might have risen to the point where they might have modified the vote result in a single state,” the senator said. “If we merely appear again and tell our folks don’t vote because there’s dishonest going on, then we’re going to position ourselves in a huge disadvantage.”

Rounds stated it’s necessary that voters believe in elections.

Predictably, Trump aggressively spoke back to Rounds’ feedback in a observation. He once more falsely declared the 2020 election “fraudulent” and stated of Rounds, “I’ll never suggest this jerk once more.”

Rounds issued his own observation in response on Monday.
