Pastor T.W. Jenkins reportedly agreed to the service, but the day sooner than the funeral he seen the obituary, through which Evans was recognized as gay. He then referred to as up Evans’ mom and informed her that it could be “blasphemous” for him to permit the service on the church, because it professes an extraordinarily anti-homosexual marriage message.
