CNN staffers are reportedly upset with the community’s coverage of the Israel-Hamas conflict, with some calling the journalism “skewed via a systemic and institutional bias.”

In line with new reporting through The Guardian, the general feeling is that CNN’s protection “repeats Israeli propaganda and often skews professional-Israel.”

The e-newsletter spoke to several staffers in CNN’s U.S. and in another country newsrooms, with one pronouncing, “The majority of information because the conflict started out, in spite of how correct the initial reporting, has been skewed by using a systemic and institutional bias within the community toward Israel. Not directly, CNN’s coverage of the Israel-Gaza conflict quantities to journalistic malpractice.”

The Guardian’s Chris McGreal reported:
