Former rebels controlling Bangui said they had come underneath attack from native militia and fighters loyal to ousted president Francois Bozize. Mindful of the 1994 genocide in Rwanda, when a whole bunch of lots had been killed as the arena seemed on, the US and other Western powers are lobbying for global action to stop the anarchy in Central African Republic leading to major atrocities towards the civilian inhabitants.
