Chris Christie said Donald Trump’s public feedback concerning the FBI investigation into his coping with of categorized documents is pushing him towards a “self-inflicted indictment.”

Christie, the former Republican governor of New Jersey, discussed the categorized documents investigation into the previous president on ABC News Sunday express This Week. Host George Stephanopoulos requested Christie about the prediction from Dan Abrams, ABC Information chief felony analyst and Mediaite founder, that Trump will be indicted.

“These are all self-inflicted wounds by using Donald Trump,” Christie said.

Christie explained that he all the time advises shoppers: “Don’t out-loud battle with the Division of Justice.” Trump is “doing the precise opposite,” he said.

Christie added that prosecutors “are human too” and don’t respond smartly to being dared to indict anyone below investigation.

Still, Christie mentioned he did not assume Trump will ultimately be indicted, regardless of his antics.

Trump has repeatedly spoken out about the investigation into his handling of categorised paperwork because the FBI raid on his Mar-a-Lago motel. Closing week, he seemed on Sean Hannity’s Fox News convey two nights in a row for interviews. In one, he floated the absurd argument that a president can declassify documents just via “eager about it.”
