Prime Minister Rishi Sunak criticised Iran for its “reckless assault” on Israel Saturday evening, accusing Tehran of “sowing chaos” and said his government was working with allies to “prevent further escalation.”

The commentary came after Iran used to be reported to have launched a barrage of drones towards Israel in line with an Israeli airstrike on an Iranian consulate building in Syria on April 1, which killed seven Modern defend officers, including a senior commander.

Sunak mentioned: “I condemn within the strongest phrases the Iranian regime’s reckless assault in opposition to Israel. The feedback were echoed by International Secretary David Cameron:
