Megan Pete, sometimes called Megan Thee Stallion, tearfully recounted an incident when rapper Tory Lanez allegedly shooting her toes in 2020 during her first interview about the incident.
“All I hear is that this man screaming and he mentioned, ‘Dance bitch!’” Pete informed CBS’ Gayle King in an interview set to air Monday. “And he started shooting and I’m just like, oh my God.”
Lanez, whose legal name is Daystar Peterson, is at the moment dealing with costs of legal assault and carrying an unregistered firearm. He has denied the costs and pleaded no longer responsible. The trial is about to begin Sept. 14.
Pete at the start didn’t inform police she had been shot, and was seen in July 2020 getting into a police car with bloodied feet, supposedly due to damaged glass.
The Reduce suggested that in an Instagram Live, “she explained that, within the second, she hadn’t relied on the police to offer protection to her. ‘Why the fuck would I inform [the police] somebody obtained a gun on this automobile and this n- – – – shot me?’ she said. ‘So I can get shot, you can get shot, she will be able to get shot, he can get shot?’”
Pete advised King that he shot a couple of times while “standing up over the window.”
“I didn’t even want to move, I didn’t need to transfer too fast,” she persisted. “Result in I’m like, oh, my God. If I take the wrong step, I don’t understand if he’s going to shoot one thing that’s, like, super vital. I don’t comprehend if he may shoot me and kill me.”
Pete stated that she never put her arms on anybody or raised her voice.
“That is one in every of them times where it was once like it shouldn’t have gotten this crazy,” she said.
